Magnar Nelson, late of Weyburn, SK passed away May 3, 2016, at the age of 90 years.

Magnar was predeceased by his wife Mary; daughter Emilie Medelko; mother Martha, father Morits, brothers: Odvar Nelson and Norman Nelson.

Magnar is survived by his son Emil and daughter-in-law Irene; grandson Jesse and Shannon Nelson and their family Hudsyn, Camryn and Trenley; granddaughter: Cynthia and husband Patrick Smith; sister-in-law Elva Nelson; as well as several cousins.

A Service of Remembrance for Magnar was held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 2:00pm from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Reverend John Ferrier officiating.  Lunch was held at the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion, 150 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.  Interment to take place at a later date.
