Live Streaming Information

At RD Family Funeral Chapel & Crematorium we offer to live-stream funerals and graveside services. It is our priority to have the best video and sound possible. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, sometimes that is not possible. Due to Covid-19, this feature has become more popular especially with the limited number of persons allowed at a funeral service. 

Not everyone is familiar with how to view or receive a live-stream production from our Funeral Home. For those not familiar with how to attain that, we are providing a step by step instruction to help you. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our live-streaming services, contact us with the information provided from this website. 

1. Our live-stream video is through the Facebook Live App. You will be required to have it downloaded on your device first.

2. There is essentially 2 ways to link to our live-steam videos:

               A. Go directly from our website by simply opening up the memorial page of the person you are inquiring about. Open the obituary/services tab, scroll to the bottom of that page. There you will see an icon of a camera that states “This event will be live-streamed”. Click on the link and you will be directed to our Facebook page. From there you may connect to the appropriate feed and watch the live-stream.

              B. Do a search for our Facebook page, RD Family Funeral Chapel and connect to the live-stream from there.

It should be noted that our live-stream videos usually begin 5-10 minutes prior to service start time as well for those that can’t watch live, the video stays on our Facebook page for up to 90 days, unless otherwise instructed by the family.
