My deepest condolences in your loss of Art.  He was such a great guy.  He was my customer when I worked in the bank and we had many good visits.  When I started working at WIT he became my customer.  He was the kind of man that you could adopt as a Grandpa any time.  He will be really missed by all who knew & loved him.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Vivian and family.....we too remember Uncle Art for his wit and making one feel invited to be around him. A very compassionate man who seen good in everyone. My earliest memory of Uncle Art is him cracking me a coke when he and Aunt Mim had just moved in to the new farm home, i was only a child yet i remember his kindness. May you find peace at this time in your memories of Art.

It is with fond memories that I remember from my childhood the good times Uncle Art and Aunt Mimmie (my mother's dearest sister) provided to me when they took me to stay with them over two summers at their farm near Griffin. My Uncle Dallas was there too as he was older and could help on the farm. Art was truly somebody I looked up to. He had jet black hair combed straight back, and at Christmas time, when all the families gathered at Grandma and Grandpa Jessie's in Frobisher, he dressed in a suite and looked every bit a leading actor from Hollywood. He had a deep baratone voice just like the super stars of the time. The last time I had a chance to visit with him was at 'coffee row' in Weyburn and am fortunate to have done so and to have met Vivian at their house. Good bye Art - may you rest in peace.
