Chris and I were saddened to hear about Auntie Kleda, we have such fond memories
of our visits with her and Uncle Angus. There was always such excitement when they were planning to visit Ontario and then when she would visit after Uncle Angus's passing.
What an incredible life she had, I had the honour of visiting Pier 21 in Halifax where mom, grandma and Auntie Kleda arrived after a long voyage from England. Seeing the door they would have walked through, starting a new life here in Canada, it was very emotional I must say. How brave they all must have been.
She was kind, loving and had such a grace about her.
We are thinking of you today, wish we could celebrate her life with you, just know
you are in our thoughts and prayers.
