My Condolences to the Paslawski family.

My best memory of Johnny was as a kid living in Toronto during the war years. Johnny would visit (us) Frank and Agnes Goski, me and my brother Earl.

When Dad told us that Johnny was coming we would go out side to watch for him.

To uncle John and his family and friends:
I think the last time I saw him was about 15 years ago when my brothers Johnny, Bernie and Terry went out to Osage to hunt ducks and geese with Paul and Ray and remember how John liked his bird hunting. It was a great experience being with those guys and shared some good stories sitting around and enjoying favourite beverages. We are still avid hunters and get together each year to compete for our annual Rysz brothers "Big Buck Trophy" which is now in its 28th year. I won it this year with a nice 4 pt Mule deer. I'm retired now after 41 years as a commercial truck mechanic and still live in Vernon BC with my wife Sandy of 35 years. We have 2 children, Megan (Jason) and grandkids Liam, Shaela, Owen and Lily and they live in Grande Prairie AB. And a son Todd (Samantha) granddaughter Alice and another girl on the way in May. They live in Calgary. We are thinking about coming out that way this summer for a visit to see cousins and uncles and hopefully can reunited with some of Johns family. Sister Joanne likes to keep in touch and lets us know what happening your way. John lived a long life so kudos goes to him. Us Rysz's are always thinking of our roots so God Bless you all .
