It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Lee Haddad on January 4, 2025, at Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ivan Haddad, in April 2024; her parents, Don and Tillie Barrett; her sister, Dawn Ross; and brothers-in-law Roger, Ron, and Camille.
Wendy leaves to cherish her memory her two brothers, Bradley and Harvey Barrett; her four sisters, Dory Lake, Terry Anderson, Genie (Garnet) Van De Sype, and Sue (Kerry) Nimegeers; and her brother-in-law David (Judy) Haddad and sisters-in-law Jean (Albert) Beaulieu and Irene (Maurice) Dionne. Wendy also had several nieces and nephews who held a very special place in her heart.
Wendy was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, in August 1951, the beloved eldest daughter of Don and Tillie Barrett.
Wendy and Ivan were married in 1975, spending 25 wonderful years in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, before returning to Saskatchewan in 1999 to make their home in Radville. Wendy’s vibrant smile could light up a room, and her warm presence touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her coffee group friends, her card-playing companions on Wednesdays, and the countless others who were blessed to know her.
Wendy’s kind, caring, and thoughtful soul will forever be remembered by all who loved her.
