Vernon lived a full filled life and spent his days farming and building, leaving behind work that reflected his care and skill. A gentle and devoted man, he offered a calm and steady presence to those who knew him and always gave his time freely to siblings, neighbours, and friends, always willing to help.
His legacy lives on in the land he worked, the things he built, and all those who were touched by his life. He lived quietly, loved deeply, and gave what he could in the way he knew how. His children remained close to his heart even when abroad, and through his hard work, he gave generously so they could carry forward his legacy of effort, care and love.
Vernon had over 35 happy years with Fay and many family memories with her children and grandchildren in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and this is his lifelong home and is where he will be laid to rest.
He will be deeply missed by everyone close to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
