Terrence "Terry" Ernest Atkinson

Terrence “Terry” Ernest Atkinson late of Weyburn, SK, passed away July 3, 2026 at the age of 92 years.

Terry was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Henry Sheridan & Constance Atkinson; brother and sister in law, Sheridan & Della Atkinson; in laws, James & Ella Burr; brothers and sisters in law, Robert, Bertha, Rodney and Cecile Burr.

Terry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Florence Atkinson of Weyburn, SK; son, Sheridan (Wendy) Atkinson of Calgary, AB their children, Kara Atkinson (Cory Lanz) [Jordin], Brian Atkinson (Lisa Penny), Jocelyn (Kyle) Gustavson [Brooklyn]; son, Neil (Natalie) Atkinson of Estevan, SK and their children, Kris (Dana) Atkinson [Dillan & Grace], Cari Atkinson, Brandi Mitrenga, Kelsey (Reggie) Barlow [Andin & Adleigh], Justin Mitrenga; son, Brian (Alice) Atkinson of Lundar, MB their children, TJ (Barbara) Atkinson [Lilia & Violet], Joel (Miranda) [Tobey, Zoey and Gunner]; daughter, Pamela (Paul) Cormier of Muskota Lakes, ON their children, Lindsay Cormier (Hunter Foster) [Jaeda & Nora], Justin Cormier (Maryah Robinson-Jackson) as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Victoria Mwamasika celebrating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK. Luncheon and fellowship were held at the Wheatland Senior Centre, 888 1st Ave NE, Weyburn, SK.
