Stanley Lonoway Obituary
Stanley Frank Lonoway, late of Weyburn, SK (formerly of Regina, SK and Yorkton, SK), passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 89 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Katie (Nyshta) Lonoway; brothers-in-law: Benny Drotar, Henry Yanyu, Charlie Weiss; his wife, Joan.
Stanley is survived by his children: son, Wesley (Terry) and their family, Amy (Jamie Smith) [Xara, Gage], Evan (Twyla) [Lindsay, Boston]; son, Gary (Donna) and their family Carli (Jeff lyoupe) [Meira, Remington]; Brooks (Moira); Braymon (Desiree) [Adrianna, Arlo]; his daughter, Chris Lonoway; sisters, Helen Yanyu and Rose Weiss; brother, Rudy (Matilda); first wife, Fern Millar (Patterson); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Gerald, SK with celebrant, Fr. Frances Plaparampil.
Luncheon will be held at Daisy Hill Manor, 629 Main Street, Esterhazy, SK.
For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Stanley may be made to a charity of your choice.
