Shirley Baird, late of Weyburn, SK entered eternity on December 30, 2025 at the age of 84 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ed; parents, George and Bertha; sister, Joan; and grandson, Matthew.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her son, Doug (Lisa) Baird; daughter Kathy (Kim) Jacob; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her sister, Nellie Haupstein; brother-in-law, Stan (Carol) Baird; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Shirley was known as loving, supportive, kind and quiet. She spoke with wisdom and love. She took on many endeavors in life, from getting her grade 12 and her driver’s license as an adult to becoming a well respected paralegal.
Shirley enjoyed crocheting, building puzzles and leading Crusaders (kid’s club). She fell in love with all the furry friends that entered their home. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother and friend to all.
A Come & Go Celebration Tea will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Weyburn Wheatland Senior Centre, 888 1st Avenue N.E., Weyburn, SK.
