Shelley Lanette Beals

Shelley Lanette Beals, late of Yucca Valley, California, USA, passed away on July 20, 2024 after a spirited battle with Pancreatic cancer.  She was 59 years of age.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Valentine and Gunda Busch, Paul and Mary Borys; nephew Joel Borys; aunts, Debbie Busch, Valerie Borys; uncles, Allan Busch, Larry Borys, Garry Borys; cousin, Dallas MacNaughton.

Shelley is survived by her parents, Ron & Carol Borys (Weyburn, SK); sister Sherry Borys and nephew Josh Borys (Weyburn, SK); brother Mark Borys (Weyburn, SK); brother and best friend Marty Borys, sister-in-law Erin O’Brien and nephew Magnus Borys (Calgary, AB); as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Petersen (Culver City, CA), Silvia Estrada (Receda, CA), Johnny Angeles (Los Angeles, CA), Danny & Mercedes Luna (Signal Hill, CA), Jose Espinoza (Gardena, CA), Judy Litowicz (Yucaipa, CA), and Mary Kasparian-Sushiski (Glendale, CA).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Black Bear Diner Banquet Room, 57084~29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA.

Shelley’s ashes will be scattered at a later date in the Joshua Tree National Park per her wishes.

We are asking for her friends to all say a few words on where they met Shelley so the family can get to know everyone. If you have a funny story to tell, please do so.

Shelley’s 60th birthday would have been on October 30, 2024. Shelley was planning a Celebration Party, so to honor her 60th birthday...birthday cake will be served. 

 A life well lived, full of hard work, adventure, travel and her beloved dogs!

In lieu of flowers, for family and friends, charitable donations in memory of Shelley may be made to an animal charity of your choice.
