Sharon Leguee, late of Fillmore, passed away on January 31st, 2026 at the age of 67 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Lois Court; her brother, Don Court; her nephew, Jason Court; in-laws, Don and Elsie Leguee; brother-in-law, Rick Smart.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Russ Leguee of Fillmore; children: Sarah Leguee of Fillmore, Jake (Stephanie) Leguee of Fillmore [Asher, Grayson, Tristan, Brooks]; Amber (Erik) Nikolejsin of Weyburn [Dax, Hazel, Bo, Chloe]; brother, Doug (Audrey) Court; sisters-in-law: Judy Court, Elaine (Herb) Willberg, Norma (Ross) Banga, Barb Smart; her best friend, Gayle (Garth) Gibbs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Growing up in the city, Sharon embraced the farm life after marrying the love of her life, Russ Leguee. She did whatever needed to be done, from helping calve cows, to driving truck and combine, to taking meals to the field. She deeply enjoyed gardening and spending time out in her yard.
Sharon always had a passion for fitness, teaching aerobics at various small towns in the area, which led to her joining and eventually owning and running Curves in Weyburn for about 9 years. She also was an avid curler and a volunteer for anything the community needed.
What she loved most was being a mom – and becoming a grandmother was a dream come true. She drove all over the province, hauling kids around to sports and 4-H; she was her kids’ greatest fan. She loved being with her grandkids, baking, colouring, playing, and gardening.
A hug from Sharon could make everything better.
The Leguee family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped Sharon through her difficult journey with Alzheimer’s in the latter years of her life. In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, charitable donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
