Ruth Charlotte Bailey

Ruth Charlotte Bailey, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 96 years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ray Bailey; her parents, Hjelmer and Margetta Peterson, sisters, Lillace Whitfield, Bernice Whitfield; brothers, Roger Peterson, Robert Peterson; and her daughter-in-law, Jean Bailey.

Ruth is survived by her son, Winston Bailey and children Lisa (Ken) Rogal and their children Morgann (Josh) and Mackenzie (Kass); Chad (Jenn) Bailey and their children Hunter (Wayne) and their daughter, Vallie, Houston (Tanner), Branson (Madison), Bowen and Maddix; her son, Wendell (Dina) Bailey and children Paul (Hannah) Bailey and their children, Wesley (Brooklyn), Ethan, Julia, Levi, Oliver; Serena (Luke) Coles and their children Tyson, Keely and Monika; Matthew (Norma) Bailey and their children Zander, Zaiden, Lincoln and Jaxxon; her daughter, Pat (Rene) Bellavance and children Jackie (Lee) Rueb, Josie (Ken) Jacobs their children Raya (Nathan) and Quin; her daughter, Sharolyn Bellavance and children Jenn (Andreas) Moborg and their children Reese and Viggo; Jarrid (Leslie) Bellavance; Josh (Cindy) Bellavance and their children Luke, Audrina and Bradley; Jory (Shannon) Bellavance and their children Wyatt, Blake and Amber. Ruth is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen Peterson, Marilyn Peterson, Mavis Stonefield, Carol Berger, Debbie Van der Meer and Margo (Don) Maxwell; brother-in-law, John (Rosalyn) Bailey; as well as nephews and nieces too numerous to mention and a host of other  family members…you were all special to her.  

Visitation was held on Friday, August 22, 2025 starting at 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK.

A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.from the Church of Christ, 1115 ~ 1st Avenue, Weyburn, SK with Wendell Bailey officiating.  Luncheon followed at the Church of Christ. Interment was held at the Radville Laurier Cemetery, Radville, SK.
