Russell Everett Torkelson

Russell Everett Torkelson late of Weyburn, SK, formerly of Beaubier, SK passed away June 29, 2025 at the age of 79 years.

Russell was predeceased by his parents, James and Gladys Torkelson; in laws, Jim and Pat Gullett; brothers in law, Eric Klee and Bill Gullett.

Russell will be remembered by his wife, Sharon Torkelson of Weyburn, SK; son, Toby Torkelson (Shannon Hein) of Warman, SK and his children, Grayson, Holden and Emerson; daughter, Tracey (Sabe) Holzer of Torquay, SK and their children, Aidan, Zachary, Terran and Emma; daughter, Tana Torkelson of Weyburn, SK and her son, Merrick (Sierra); brothers, Terry (Heather) Torkelson and Kirk (Ila) Torkelson; sisters in law, Mary Klee and Jane (Jim) McGinty; close friend, Clifford “Kip” Mathers as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Reverend Trust officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were All In Attendance. Lunch and fellowship followed the service at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #47 150 ~ 3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date in Beaubier Cemetery, Beaubier, SK.
