Obituary
Patrick Mark Layden passed away July 21, 2023 at the age of 63 years.
Patrick was predeceased by his father, James Layden; and his mother, Flora Layden.
He is survived by his children: Charisse Chelstad-Easter (Shawn); Sabrina Layden; Neil Layden, Robyn Vilcu (Isaac) and Derek Layden; his grandchildren: Jada, Graham, Shayne, Jocelyn, Jared, Kaylee, Teslin, Trystan, Allorah, Kenzia and Teneille; brothers: Clark (Donna), Michael, Reginald (Gai), Hal; and his sister Gaytan (Bob) Thiels; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service was held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mirror Cemetery, Mirror, AB (40461 – 40463 Highway 21). Following the graveside service a Celebration of Patrick’s life was held at the Mirror Community Hall, corner of 51st Street and 50th Avenue, Mirror, AB.
