Patricia “Pat” Parent
September 18, 1960 – May 28, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia “Pat” Parent, who passed peacefully surrounded by love after a life marked by resilience, compassion, humor, and deep faith.
Patricia was a loving mother, proud grandmother, sister, and friend whose heart was always open to those she loved. She owned and operated her own cleaning company for many years, where she was known for her strong work ethic, determination, and caring nature.
Patricia was predeceased by the father of her children, Alain “Zeke” Sauve, her parents, Art and Jean Bender, and those she loved who have gone before her.
She leaves behind her loving children: Tracy (Rob) Thompson of Regina, Saskatchewan; Melinda (Trevor) Pelletier of Regina, Saskatchewan; and Trent (Gini) Sauve of Okotoks, Alberta.
She was an incredibly proud grandmother to Rhett Thompson and Jayla Pelletier, who brought immense joy and purpose to her life. Her grandchildren were one of her greatest blessings, and she loved hearing about their lives, school, and accomplishments.
Patricia is also lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, along with their families, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends whose lives she touched over the years.
Those who knew Pat will remember her for her incredible cooking, her ability to make a meal feel like home, and the way she welcomed people around her table. She had a gift for giving — even when she had very little herself. Whether it was a warm meal, a listening ear, or helping someone when they needed it most, Pat gave from the heart without hesitation.
Her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the entire team at Pasqua Hospital 3A for the kindness, compassion, love, and support shown not only to Patricia, but also to her daughters throughout this difficult journey. Your care and humanity will never be forgotten.
Those who knew Pat will remember her for her enormous heart, her strength through life’s hardships, her stubborn spirit, her faith, and her ability to love deeply even during difficult times. She valued connection, cherished meaningful conversations, and cared deeply for her family and friends.
A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Avonlea, SK.
