Patricia was born on March 17, 1929 at Colgate, SK. Her birthday was always celebrated with a Saint Patrick’s theme. She attended high school in Weyburn, SK, where she completed her grade 12. Patricia was an accomplished piano player and completed her grade 10 Royal Conservatory Music Program. Patricia worked at the Royal Bank in Weyburn after completing high school. On October 17, 1948 she married Don McNeil and they lived on the McNeil farm where they raised their family of four daughters.

Patricia was a hardworking farm wife. She was a wonderful baker and cook. Patricia was involved in many clubs and activities including the Royal Purple, quilting club, curling and bowling. She also loved to teach piano lessons and share her love of music. Patricia always loved to play the piano for church, concerts and plays. Patricia and Don were also very talented dancers, jiving and square dancing being two of their favorite. In 1988, Patricia and Don retired to Weyburn, where Pat joined the United Church Choir and various organizations. They loved their retirement years where many life-long friends and memories were made. They loved to travel, with Hawaii being one of their favorite destinations. Patricia was her family’s number one fan. She was involved in all their activities. Her family meant the world to her. Patricia loved the Lord and had a close relationship with God. We find peace knowing she is with her Lord and Savior now.
