Odin James Jacobson, late of Lake Alma, SK passed away on March 19, 2025. He was 89 years of age.
Odin was predeceased by his father, James Odin Jacobson; mother, Lily Mary Jacobson (Pattyson); sister, Shirley Paul, brother-in-law, Tommy Paul; brothers, Wilfred and Lawrence Jacobson; grandson, Blair Forzely; great-granddaughter, Violet Jacobson; sisters-in-law, Molly Jacobson (Bloor) and Florence Galbraith; his brothers-in-law: Ted Tiefenbach, Chris Tatarliov, Donald Galbraith, Joe Morrison, Tommy Morrison (Shirley) and James Thue; his mother and father-in-law, John Thomas Morrison and Murial Rebecca Morrison (Marshall).
Odin is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice (Morrison); his son, Olanda and Sherry (Nicolay) and children: Delvis Jacobson, Denny and Karen (Kirby), Orlando and Miranda (Butler), Orlena and Randy Potter, Anna and Trevor Looman; his daughter, Wanda Renz and children: Amy Wheelans, Cody and Libby Renz, Chelsey and Johnny Galvin; son, Jesse and Shelly (Thue) and children: Tyler and Joey (Fehr), Natasha and Scott Doetzel, Marlie and Kelly Wagner; son, Boyd Jacobson and children, Montana Jacobson, Jewel Jacobson; son, Cliffton Jacobson and children: Lane and Phoenix Jacobson, Makayla Jacobson, Trysten Jacobson. Odin is also survived by too many great grandchildren to mention; his sisters, Violet Edmunds and Mona Tatarliov; and sisters-in-law: Thelma Jacobson, Sheila Thue, Ingrid Morrison.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. from the Radville Grace United Church, Radville, SK with Judy Beck officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were: Kelly Thue, Stan Melford, Carl Barrett, Albert Hanson, Ross Schnell, Daryl Blackmore, Grant Oberkirsch and Pat Doud. Pallbearers were: Delvis Jacobson, Cody Renz, Natasha Doetzel, Lane Jacobson, Colby Wheelans and Denny Jacobson. A Private Family interment was held and luncheon followed at the Lake Alma Hall, Lake Alma, SK.
