Mervin Max Honig

Mervin Max Honig, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023 at the age of 90 years. Mervin was predeceased by his son, Dale Honig; his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Honig; his in-laws Kleda and Angus Grieve; brothers and sisters: Adam Honig, Hilda Goodfellow, Helen Moore, Henry Honig, Joseph Honig and Frank Honig.

Mervin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Honig; his daughter, Debbie (Todd) Knupp and their children, Rylan, Austin and Jenna; his son, Brian (Bonnie) Honig and their children, Bethany, Dylan and Brittney as well as numerous special nieces and nephews.

A Prayer Service was held on Sunday July 23, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday July 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK Fr. Valentine Amobi, Celebrant. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn.
