Mary Irene DeRoose, late of Ceylon, SK passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 100 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rene DeRoose and Helen (Vandenbossche); brothers: Joe, Adolfe (Mary), Remie and Oscar; sisters: Louise (Otto) Hershe, Martha (Rainville), Alice (Jack) Schmidtheisler, Annie DeRoose and Margaret DeRoose.

Mary is survived by her loving family, her sisters, Camilla Dionne, Emma Gillies; brother-in-law, Lionel Rainville; sister-in-law, Valerie DeRoose; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Holy Family Parish Roman Catholic Church in Radville, SK with celebrant, Fr. Jacques Kouassi.  Pallbearers were: Rene DeRoose, Darcy DeRoose, Tristyn DeRoose, Helen DeRoose, Millennia DeRoose and Sidney DeRoose.  Interment took place at the Ceylon Cemetery, Ceylon, SK following the service.
