Marlene Grace Babiarz

Marlene Grace Babiarz, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on December 21, 2025 at the age of 80 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Van Billings Laird and Laura Laird; her husband, Ed Babiarz; son, Michael Babiarz; brothers, Clifford Laird, Melvin Laird; brothers-in-law, Tony Brown, Gerald Burke and Dennis Bottineau.

Marlene is survived by her daughter, Sandra Babiarz of Coalhurst, AB and her family: Dustin Babiarz [great-granddaughter, Wrenley], Alex Babiarz (Giovanna), Brittany (Cameron) Green; daughter, Shelly Babiarz (Rick Hallberg) of Weyburn, SK; daughter-in-law, Lindsay Babiarz of Regina, SK and her sons, Hudson, Beckett.  Marlene is also survived by her second husband, Jack Davis of Weyburn, SK and his daughter, Rhonda (Curtis) Croal; sisters: Ruby Brown, Delores Burke, Thelma (Laverne) Westman, Norma Bottineau; her brother, Glen Laird;  as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. from the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK. 

 A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Father Valentine.  Luncheon followed at the McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK.  A Private Family Interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.
