Marcella Makelki

Marcella Makelki, late of Weyburn, SK, born May 19, 1932, passed away March 13, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Carl Makelki; parents, Nestor and Katherine Vasseur; her brothers: Lucien, Bernard and Fabian.

Marcella is survived by her daughter, Valorie (John) Borgen and their children: daughter, Chelsey (Matt) Souther and their children, [Jase, Blayke and Emersyn], son Christopher Borgen; her son, Brian (Brenda) Makelki and their children: Jasmine Makelki (Jordan Heaman), Dylan Makelki; brothers: Edward (Delores) and Victor Vasseur; sister Wanda (Rodney) Evenson; brother-in-law Charlie Makelki; sisters-in-law, Katie Ashworth and Donna Makelki; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

A Private Family Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church with celebrant Fr. Francis Plaparampil. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tribune, SK.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we all must abide by the province of Saskatchewan’s restrictions on public gatherings by limiting the number of people attending the service to 30 people.
