Leo Ted Pyret, late of Weyburn, SK passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025 at the age of 90 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Katie Pyret; siblings: Phyllis (Leo) Schultz, Joe, John, Stanley and Ted; son-in-law Sheldon Shawaducki.
Leo is survived by his wife, Shirley Pyret of Weyburn, SK; children: Bernadette (Glen) Istace of Weyburn, SK; David Pyret of Weyburn, SK; Cheryl (Dan) Reid of Weyburn, SK and Teresa Shawaducki of Regina, SK; grandchildren: Julian Istace of Weyburn, SK, Ellen (Curtis) Johnston of Weyburn, SK, Brent (Laurae) Reid of Esterhazy, SK; and his great-grandchildren, Lily and Caden Johnston of Weyburn, SK.
Leo Pyret was born in Cedoux, SK. He enjoyed spending time outside in his yard and garden. He took up woodworking and built many projects over the years. He was an avid Blue Jay fan and enjoyed playing crib with family and friends. He took great pleasure in spending time with his great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Leo’s Life will be held for his family and friends at a later date.
