Lawrence Raymond Morrissette, late of Weyburn, SK passed away April 1, 2021 at the age of 69 years.
He was predeceased by father Antoine (Tony) Morrissette; and his mother Rosalie (Rose) Mazenc.
Lawrence is survived by his wife Belinda, Weyburn, SK; his daughter Lynette (Mike) Christensen, Calgary, AB; his three sons: Kevin (Megan), Regina, SK, Darcy (Anna), Edmonton, AB, and Spencer, Regina. SK; brothers: Roger (Sherry), Moose Jaw, SK, Daniel (Elaine), Moose Jaw, SK, and Gilbert (Emma), Carlyle, SK; his sister, Irene (Real) Bourassa, Bienfait, SK; four grandchildren: Kennedy, Bryce, Emily Christensen, Kenneth Morrissette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and all who called him Dad, Grandpa and friend.
Lawrence enjoyed his years as a school bus driver especially seeing all the children. Everyone who knew him enjoyed his unique sense of humour. Lawrence’s pride and joy were his children and his grandchildren, whom he loved and cared for deeply.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Weyburn, SK with President Dale Regnier officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Lawrence may be made to the Weyburn Home Care, Box 2003, Weyburn, SK, S4H 2Z9.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we all must abide by the province of Saskatchewan’s restrictions on public gatherings by limiting the number of people attending the service to 30 people.
