Ken Johnson

Ken Johnson, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Josie Johnson; in-laws Sverre and Thea Larsen; his son-in-law Monte Marshall; and brothers-in-law: Allen Larsen, Garry (Evelyn) Larsen, Henry Kostuik.

Ken is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wanda Johnson; his daughter Joanne Johnson (Brian Maas); his son Trevor (Dawn) Johnson; grandchildren: Taylor Johnson, Jaxon Marshall, Konner Johnson (Jazmine Chester) and Mackenzie Johnson; sister Helen Kostuik; brother-in-law Dennis (Karen) Larsen; sister-in-law Laura Larsen; numerous nieces, nephews and friends both North and South of the 49th Parallel.

A Funeral Service for Ken was held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. from the Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Victoria Mwamasika officiating.

Luncheon was held at the Zion Lutheran Church.  Interment followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK. Honorary Pallbearers were: Larry Skjerdal, Marlynn Whitteron, Ray Arndt, Dale Petersen, Lorne Forsberg and all of Ken’s former students.  Pallbearers were: Stewart Larsen, Darrell Hoffart, Greg Marshall, Brian Sveinson, Garnet Roysum and Rodney Olson.
