It is with great sadness that the family of Judith Ann Hoimyr (nee: Mackintosh) announce her passing on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the age 70 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Judy’s journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. Her courage was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Joyce Mackintosh.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Lyle Hoimyr; her children: Mark (Laura) Hoimyr, Tannis (Derek) Axten and Lee Ann (Ivan) Odland; grandchildren: Anna, Jeremy, Kate, Brock, Shawn and Tyler; her brother Jack (Jackie) Mackintosh; sister-in-law Cheryl Hoimyr; brothers-in-law, Randy (Roberta) and Wade (Melanie); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Gladmar Regional School Gymnasium with Judy Beck officiating. Urn Bearer is Mark Hoimyr. A Private Family Interment will be held at Saron Cemetery, Lake Alma. Following the interment service, the family will join you for fellowship and refreshments at the Gladmar School Gym.
