John Robert McLellan

John Robert McLellan passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 at the age of 88. 

He will be remembered as a very special father, uncle and friend.

John was predeceased by his wife, Irene Rose McLellan; his parents, Dan and Susie McLellan; brother, Bud McLellan; sisters, Myriel Fellner and Shirley Lillejord; brothers-in-law, Frank Fellner, Ernie Lillejord; nieces and nephews, Pam and Brad Zastrow, Tanner Zastrow, Brady Lillejord, Deana and Dustin Dore.

John will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his only daughter, Sandi; his fur baby, Riley; sisters-in-law, Rose Schenher and Rosemary Schenher. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

John touched the lives of many with his love, humour and generosity.  He loved small town life, farming and driving the school bus.  John was proud to call Khedive home for many years.  He was known as Johnny Mac by many friends and neighbors.  He’d never say no to a cold beer or turn down a shot of rum. He loved watching sports and was especially proud of being a Montreal Canadiens fan.

Cremation has taken place.  At John’s request, there will be no formal service held. Interment will be held at a later date.
