Joanne Marie Bresciani

Joanne Marie Theresa Bresciani, late of Weyburn, SK passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on September 20, 2024 at the age of 69 years at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Edmonton, AB.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Nellie Bachman; her in-laws, Frank and Jenny Bresciani.

Joanne is survived by her husband Doug; brother and best friend, Rick Bachman of Regina, SK; children Jason (Angela) Bresciani of Estevan, SK and family [Madden, Mason, Carter of Estevan, SK, and Caleb of Regina, SK]; Jenn (Jarod) Eagles of Mesa, AZ and family [Asher and Zoey]; Thomas (Brittney) Bresciani of Regina, SK and family [August]; her brother Ed (Deb) Bachman of Ponoka, AB and family [Krista (Troy) Spelt] of Red Deer, AB and family (Olivia, Irelyn and Avery); Jarrod (Stephanie) Bachman of Calgary, AB and family (Quinn and Eve); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, relatives and friends.

A Viewing was held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at RD Family Funeral Chapel Weyburn, SK.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. Luncheon followed at McKenna Hall, 317 – 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.

Interment was held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from Regina Memorial Gardens, Regina, SK.  Honorary Pallbearers will be all Joanne’s grandchildren and hockey and football sons.

In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, donations will go towards initiatives aimed at reducing abuse towards sporting officials in Saskatchewan.
