Jerry Arthur Meyers

With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of our dad, Jerry Meyers, on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the age of 74 years.  He was surrounded by family and friends in his final days at the Weyburn General Hospital. 

Dad now joins his parents, Arthur and Judy Meyers, along with numerous family and friends in his eternal resting place.

Jerry is survived by his son Mark (Sylvia), Odessa, SK; his daughter Leslie (Chad) and grandchildren [Hailey, Kaleb], Saskatoon, SK; the mother of his children, Loretta Sebastian; sisters, Sharon (George) and Linda (Craig); as well as numerous other family.

Dad was born on November 6, 1949 in Regina, SK where he drove trucks for a career.  In 2008 he settled in Weyburn, SK continuing his trucking career until retirement in 2014.  He had an undeniable passion for Nascar, playing cards, meeting friends for tea, and took in hot days sun tanning on his deck.  No one could make cinnamon twists like he could!

We would like to thank Marlin, Marty and Debbie for all your help, visits and conversations at the hospital.  Thank you also to the doctors and nurses for your care and compassion in dad’s final days.

A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held at a later date.
