Jeannette Elaine Rutten, late of Yellow Grass, SK passed away on May 26, 2026 at the age of 80 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Mary Buehler; in-laws, Herman and Anna Rutten; several close friends and family members.

Jeannette is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gordon Rutten of Yellow Grass, SK; her children: Roland (Lisa) Rutten of Victoria, BC [Anna, Lauren, Addison]; Kevin Rutten of Vernon, BC [Isla, Kate, Jane]; Jason Rutten (Stacey Atkinson) of Weyburn, SK [Kora-Lyn]; Colin Rutten (Kelly Brown) of Calgary, AB [Quinn, Piper]; Erin Rutten (Robert Horner) of Victoria, BC [Beatrix, Hazel]; and Whitney Rutten (Brad Dengler) of Weyburn, SK [Nickolas, Wilden]; her brother, Melvin (Carolann) Buehler; sister, Marilyn Mallow; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

As our mom would say every time we left the house…“see you in the funny papers”

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. from the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine.  Luncheon will follow the service the the McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
