James “Jim” Ribalkin, late of Weyburn, SK (formerly of Whitebeach, SK) passed away suddenly on February 26, 2024 at the age of 78 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Nellie Ribalkin; as well as his eldest son William.
James will be lovingly remembered by his sister; his 3 sons and their families, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; as well as other family members.
Jim was raised in Whitebeach, SK and received his education at the Porcupine School. As a young man he developed a passion for farming, hunting, and fishing, which has continued throughout his family. He enjoyed playing music with his band “The Thunderhill Pal’s.”
Jim instilled a strong work ethic in his sons and taught them many of life’s values.
Over the course of time Jim enjoyed many different paths working for the RM of Livingston, drove bus for the Kamsack School Division, and sold monuments under his name, “Jim’s Memorial’s. His passion would always be farming.
We are all grateful for the many precious memories we have in our hearts to cherish.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date.
