James Mantei Obituary
It is with deep sadness and shattered hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, James, “Jim” Mantei on March 22, 2025 at the age of 73 years.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Alma and Art Mantei; brother, Paul Mantei; and in-laws, Peter and Ernestine Kaufmann.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rosanne Mantei of Weyburn, SK; his son, Jodie (Nataliya) Mantei of Weyburn, SK and children: Ashley, Ryley, Christina, Lucas; son, Peter (Crystal) Mantei of Weyburn, SK and children, Parker, Quinn and Cohen; daughter, Kimberly (Wyatt) Woycik of Regina, SK; his great grandson, Harrison; brothers and sisters-in-law: Barry (Elaine) Kaufmann, Gail (Lee) Roth, Pete (Roberta) Kaufmann; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. A Private Family interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK. Luncheon followed at the McKenna Hall, 317 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Weyburn Theatre Community Service Cooperative, 11 ~ 3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK, S4H 0W1. (See Below for the Link to Donate)
