Inge was born in Achterstadt, Germany. She grew up on a farm where she gained her love of animals and of nature. After meeting her future husband Gunter when he returned to Germany on one of his visits back home, Inge immigrated to Canada in 1960. They were married and lived in Mair, SK and soon after they settled into life in Weyburn, raising their two children.
Inge was very creative, which she expressed in her many hobbies, including sewing, weaving, stained glass, needlework, knitting, upholstery, among others. She also loved being outdoors, gardening, camping (especially with family) and travelling.
Her greatest love was her family. She treasured time with her children and her grandchildren, always having crafts, games and fun things to do ready for them. In March she moved to Alberta, where having time with her two great-grandsons brought her much joy.
Inge’s faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life.
