Hazel Genevieve Mackenzie

Hazel Genevieve Mackenzie, late of  Weyburn, SK, passed away December 19, 2019 at the age of 90 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Julius and Minnie Jermunsen; her son, David Mackenzie; sister, Linda Michel; infant sister, Judy; sister-in-law, Jackie Jermunsen; brothers-in-law, Gerry Daly, Ronald Michel; son-in-law, Duane Graefer; granddaughter, Juli-Ann Mackenzie; grandson, Darwin Backlun; and Ron Mackenzie, father of her children.

Hazel is survived by her son Rick (Sandra) Mackenzie and children: Jeffery Mackenzie, Janna (Chris) Mackenzie-Scott, Nancy (Dallas) Rogal, Jeff (Shauna) Chessall; daughter Karen Backlun (Rob Donison) and children: Toni Backlun (Curtis Yung), Tyler Backlun, Chris Backlun (Dierdre); daughter Cheryl Graefer (Randy Verhaeghe) and children Shelan Proust (Trevor), Pamela Groshong (Brad), Erin Pretty (Dale), Andrew Graefer (Trisha); grandsons, Justin (Jessica) Mackenzie and Catlin Mackenzie; many great grandchildren; sister, Sally Daly; brother, Vern Jermunsen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her friends at Tatagwa View.

A Service of Remembrance was held Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from the Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn, SK, with Pastor Victoria Mwamasika officiating. Urn Bearer was Rick Mackenzie and Honorary Pallbearers were all in attendance. Interment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK and luncheon followed at the Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn, SK.
