Harvey Knelsen Obituary
Harvey Henry Knelsen was born on December 26, 1930 in Kelstern, SK to Henry and Mary Knelsen. He passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021 at the Weyburn General Hospital.
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary Knelsen; and brother Gordon Knelsen.
Harvey is survived by his wife Loretta; children: Craig Knelsen, Dawn Aschenbrener, Theresa Knelsen, Wanda McCallum (Kent Whiting), Angela (Ken) Bens and Wade Knelsen; his grandchildren: Jonathan Aschenbrener (Sara Salazar), Jordan Aschenbrener, Nigel and Sean McCallum, Alex Bens, Meagan (Jonathan) Wishira, Tracey Knelsen and Evan Pauliuk. Along with two great grandchildren; his sister Gloria Olson, sister-in-law Dora Knelsen; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special furry grandchildren, Tank and Keesha.
A Committal Service will be held July 2023 with Rev. Jo Mader of St. Andrews United Church, Fort Qu'Appelle presiding.
In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Harvey may be made to the Weyburn Humane Society, P.O. Box 1062, Weyburn, SK, S4H 2L3.
