Gordon Henry Stronge

Gordon Henry Stronge, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2018 at the age of 89 years.  Gordon was predeceased by his parents: George and Louisa Stronge;  his first wife: Edna Stronge; son: Doug Stronge; two brothers: Bill and Elmer Stronge; one sister: Violet Harris.

Gordon is survived by his wife Jean, Weyburn, SK; son: Scott (Wendy) Stronge, Colgate, SK and their children: Derek (Nevion) Stronge and family [Frankie and Piper] Heather Stronge and Kristen Stronge; Jean’s family: Mike (Tina) Wagner, Ken (Yvonne) Wagner, Sandra (Ed) Scovoranski; grandchildren: Candace (Jamie) Rich, Adam, Nick, and Justin Wagner; great grandchildren: Logan and Hunter Rich as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Gordon was held on Monday, September 24, 2018  at 2:00 pm from Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Victoria Mwamasika officiating.  Interment followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Weyburn, SK.  Luncheon was held at Zion Lutheran Church. Pallbearers were:  Dennis Turluk, Garth Freeman, Clint Schwindt, Robert Megenbir, Bern Megenbir and Ray Sigmeth. All attending the service were considered Honorary Pallbearers.
