Goldie Verbeem Obituary

Goldie Alice Verbeem, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on September 15, 2024 at the age of 84 years

She was predeceased by her loving husband, George Verbeem; her sisters: Clara (Jim) Betemps, Eva (Alec) Fraser, Ann (Sid) Stuber, Irene (Peter) Michayluk, Yolanda Zsombor; brothers-in-law: Leo Verbeem, Maurice (Frances) Verbeem,Andrew (Rita) Verbeem and Joe Verbeem

She is survived by her son Kevin (Leanne) Verbeem and grandchild: Evan (Kaitlin), Jason (Jen) and great grandchildren [Lake and Riggs], Aaron (Brooke), Tyson; daughter Diedre Corrigan and grandchildren: Michelle (Adam) and  great-grandchild [Griffin], David, Nicole, Michael; daughter Marla (Craig) Mack and grandchildren: Braden, Mackenzie, Brady, Haley (Tyler); daughter Melanie (Nolan) Bennett and grandchildren, Alyssa (Donovan) and Justin; sister-in-law Marie Verbeem; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Prayers were held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.

For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Goldie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #300 ~ 55 St. Claire Avenue, Toronto, ON, M4V ~2X7.
