Glenda Charlotte Foley

Glenda Charlotte Foley, late of Weyburn, SK passed away October 18, 2021 at the age of 62 years.  Glenda was born and raised in Weyburn where she met her husband, Steve. She worked at Souris Valley Extended Care Centre until she left to raise her children. When her children started school, she decided to go back to work. First to work for the NDP in the MLA office in Weyburn for many years and then followed a job at Papa Jacks restaurant. In 2007 Glenda decided to go back and work in health care. Throughout the years she made countless friends and made a great impression and big impact on so many people along the way. Glenda loved with her whole heart and all her family, friends and their kids meant the world to her. She was loved by so many and will be missed by so many more.

Glenda was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Ida Trulson; sister, Darlene Rommann; mother and father-in-law, Edith and Percy Quick; brother-in-law, Terry Foley as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

Glenda leaves to mourn her husband, Stephen Foley; daughter, Adrienne Foley (Mike Knox) and their children: [Zia and Ava] her son, Morgan Foley; sister Wanda (Gary) Bender and family: Christopher (Ronnie) Bender and their daughter [Mackenzie], Regan (Jude) Bender, Curtis Bender; brother-in-law, David (Cheryl) Rommann and family: Trent (Niki) Rommann and their daughter, [Rylee], Jerod Rommann (Ashley Kopp) and family: Jakob and Lily; brother and sister-in-laws: Ken (Vyonne) Foley and family, Gladys (Terry) Foley and family; special friends: Wanda (David) Edwards and family; Jalyn Rossow (Mark Nestman) and family, Brian (Den) Gecosala; honorary grandchildren: Kaiden Chessall, Ella Edwards and Charlie Goebel.

A Prayer Service will be held on Friday October 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Francis Plaparampil, Celebrant, interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK  Following the interment a reception will be held at Captain’s Hall, 122-4th St. NE, Weyburn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wanda Edwards, Brian Gecosala, Jalyn Rossow and all in attendance at Glenda’s Service.
