Gertrude Elizabeth Fladeland

Gertrude Elizabeth Fladeland, late of Gladmar, SK passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 100 years.

She was predeceased by husband Theodore Fladeland; her parents Konrad and Anna Gold; father and mother-in-law Theodore and Selma Fladeland; daughter Judy; sons Dennis and Murray; granddaughter Louelle Fladeland; daughter-in-law Wendy Fladeland; sisters: Anna (Raymond) Hoffman, Katie (John) Kohl, brothers: Joe (Barbara) Gold, Konrad (Blanche) Gold, and her twin George Gold; her brothers-in-law: Arthur (May) Fladeland, Wilhelm (Clara) Fladeland, Joe Kaufmann; sisters-in-law: Cora (Art) Matters, Anna (Ole) Eikemo, Emily McGugan.  

Gertrude is survived by: her son Wayne Fladeland; daughters, Karen (Dwayne) Fettes, Dianne (Greg) Dedora; daughter-in-law Valerie Fladeland; 17 grandkids: Bret (Oksana) Fladeland, Bridget Fladeland  (Kevin Williams), Ian (Jody) Fladeland, Paul Fladeland; Del (Lisa) Fladeland, Clint Fladeland (Melanie and her daughter Sydney), Louelle Fladeland’s friend Kelly Hoffman and his son Dallas (Marissa and son Hayz); Trina (Perry) Verhelst, Tyler (Lori) Fettes, Scott (Tina) Fettes; Jared (Alicia) Dedora, Joshua Dedora (Carole Preston), Pamela Dedora (John Fenrich), Dexter (Kayla) Dedora; Logan Fladeland, Austin Fonk, Ryan (Sheena) Fonk and Evan Fonk; 31 great grandkids: Gabriel and Mila Fladeland, Hannah, Jessica and Brianna Fladeland, Mya Fladeland, Sam (Christine) Jackiw, Kelsie Prokop; Dawson, Rylan and Brayden Fladeland, Benz and Tave Fladeland, Olivia Verhelst (Levi Woodard), Julia and James Verhelst, Cody (Callie) Fettes, Cassidy (Ty) Brockmeyer, Carter Fettes (MacKenzie Dobrohoczki), Brandy Fettes (Dakoda Beres), Eric Fettes; Keely, Reagan and Benson Dedora, Simon, Maxwell and Annabelle Fenrich-Dedora, Dunn, Dace and Dallya Dedora; and James Fonk; 2 great-great grandkids Charlotte Prokop, Noah Jackiw; sister-in-law Nina Kaufmann; nephews, nieces, cousins and a HUGE extended family of friends.

Prayers were held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church, Minton, SK.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gertrude was held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Parish Roman Catholic Church, Radville, SK with celebrant Fr. Hyacinth Oakfor. Luncheon was held at the Holy Family Parish Catholic Church Parish Hall, Radville, SK.  Interment was held at Gladmar Cemetery, Gladmar, SK.  Honorary pallbearers were St. Eugene’s Parishioners and Pallbearers were Gertrude’s grandsons.
