Gail Neiszner Obituary

Gail Neiszner, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away July 24, 2020 at the age of 72 years.

She was predeceased by her parents: Russell and Dorothy McFadden; her in-laws: Martin and Grace Neiszner; sister, Joan Hall; brother, Stan McFadden; and her grandson, Davin Kessler.

Gail is survived by her husband Don Neiszner; her children: Kevin (Kerry) Neiszner and their family: Mickaela (Jordan) Kerr and their son [Kaleb]Rylan Neiszner (McKenzie Cherpin), Laura Lee Neiszner and her family: Dustin (Sabrina) Howells and their children [Briella and Eilum], Cory Howells (Torri Hill), Brad Neiszner (Allison Kessler) and her children: [Kaden and Hannah], Mike (Holly) Neiszner and their children: [Dane and Livia]; her sisters: Shirley Ward, Norma Halladay, Dorothy Hack, Lois McLeod, Brenda Klein, Marilyn Hulbert, Fran Birrell; as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Edna "Gail" Neiszner was born on July 14, 1948 to Russell and Dorothy McFadden.  She grew up on the family farm 2 miles north of Weyburn with 8 sisters and 1 brother. She attended Queen Elizabeth and Weyburn Comp. Schools.  She met the love of her life at the Prospect School while accompanying her sister, Shirley, who taught there.  It so happened a young man named Don went there and lived just down the road.  After graduation she worked at Sasktel and eventually reconnected with Don and they were married July 6, 1968.  They lived in Weyburn briefly where they welcomed their first 2 children, Kevin and Laura Lee.  They soon made the move to Don's farm and added 2 more boys, Brad and Mike, to their family.

Gail enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family.  Once they were old enough to look after themselves she worked at Souris Valley in the dietary department and then at McCoy Drugs.  She once again decided it was time to stay home and look after her beautiful yard and garden now that she had grandchildren to enjoy.  She was so proud to be Grandma to : Dustin, Mickaela, Cory, Rylan, Dane, Livia, Hannah, Kaden, Briella, Eilum and Kaleb.

Gail loved to spend time with friends as well.  Her favorite adventure was taking bus tours to gambling destinations.  She even hosted events for Stagecoach Tours. She had such a great sense of humor and loved to give her advice to her children whether they wanted it or not.  She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
