Frances "Fran" Franks Obituary
Frances “Fran” Charlanne Franks, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 18, 2023 at the age of 82 years.
She was predeceased by her father and mother, William and Mildred (White) Pittman; her brother Bill Pittman; and sisters, Alberta McKenzie and Geraldine Grandbois
Fran is survived by: her husband, Elmer Franks; son Brent (Edna) Franks; daughter Taryl (Blair) Franks-Kalesnikoff; and son Wade (Jen) Franks; grandchildren: Joel (Kezia), Kirsten, Casey, Erin (Austin), Jordan (Aidan), Dryden, Davis (Melinda), Ethan, Owen; her great-grandchildren: Gabe, Gunner and Lennix.
A Celebration of Fran’s Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Cecila’s Banquet Hall & Restaurant, 122 ~ 4th Street NE, Weyburn, SK.
For family and friends so wishing charitable donations in memory of Fran may be made to the Wheatland Senior Centre, 888 ~ 1st Avenue NE, Weyburn, SK, S4H 3M1 or the Regina Pasqua Hospital, c/o Palliative Care, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
