Elizabeth "Betty" Schmidt Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” Wanda Schmidt, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on June 19, 2026 at the age of 76 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Wanda Schmidt; her sisters, Edith (Albert) Krueger, Gertrude (Robert) Jackson; brothers: Alfred, Werner, Lucien, Eric; and her sister-in-law, Susan.
Betty is survived by her brother, Eugene (Thelma “Bubbins”) Schmidt of Weyburn, SK; sister-in-law, Frances Schmidt of West Kelowna BC. Betty will be lovingly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews of the Schmidt family all across Canada; and by her long time friend, Sandra Nelson.
Cremation has taken place. Service details will be announced at a later date.
