Effie Elizabeth Devine, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 100 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Fletcher and Mary Tyerman; husbands, Leonard Sweeney and Milton Devine; her daughters: Cheryl Cayer and Dianne Nicholson; grandsons; William Kerney, Michael Mortimer, Rory Anderson; siblings: Roger Tyerman, Elda Burton,Leonard Tyerman and Bryan Tyerman
Effie is survived by her children: Leonard Patrick (Pat) and Valerie Sweeney and family, Kevin, Lisa (Bill) Wells; Marion (Bill) Kerney and family, Michelle (Terry) Carlson and children, Rayne (Steven) Balazs and family [Remington, Novalynn, Harrison], Cole (Mackenzie) Carlson and daughter [Paisley], Reece Carlson, Lynda (Greg) Rideout and children, Justin, Alexandra; Dianne’s husband, Dwaine Nicholson and family Martin (Sarah) Nicholson, Cynthia (Jarett) Kehler and family: Jordyn (Remington) Rohal and child [Riai], Kiana, Teran, Mackenzie, Maya, Emily; Glenn (Marie) Sweeney and family, Carl (Candice) Sweeney, Chantal (Andrew) Innes and children [Aidan, Caitlin]; David James “Jim” (Judy) Sweeney and family, Jason (Sonia) Sweeney and children, Sarah (Corey) Anderson and children [Killian, Amara, Freya], Brendan Sweeney, Abilgail (Jared) McCallum, Alyssa Sweeney, Deanna Sweeney and family [Taya, Tanner]; Roger (Sheila) Devine, Muriel (David) Devine.
