Edwin Roy Nielson

Edwin Roy Nielson, late of Weyburn, SK passed away October 25, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Emanual and Alma Nielson; his wife Elaine; brothers: Adolphe, Ken, Don; his sister Eloise; and brother-in-law Gerald.

Ed is survived by his daughter: Deb (Jack) Rop, and their children Colton, Caitlin and Brittany; son Roger (Anita) Nielson, and their children Melissa, Brianna and Zachary; son Kevin Nielson (Trena Drotar), and their daughter Levi Gemma; son Mark (Trish) Nielson, and their children Julian and Jaydyn; his sister Lillian Thomson; brother and sister-in-laws, Alice (Dan) Hoff and Charles (Marlys) Anderson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with funeral celebrant Judy Beck. Interment took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK. Luncheon followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #47, 150 ~ 3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK.
