At the age of 88, Doreen passed away in Weyburn, Saskatchewan as a resident of Tatagwa View.
Patiently accepting her challenges with dementia, she was waiting for God’s jet to take her to a better place. Doreen will return to Bengough where she resided for 62 years. She will gladly rest in peace among family and friends.
Doreen is predeceased by her husband John D. Campbell, her parents Percy and Marjorie VanCott, her oldest brother Douglas, twin brothers Donald and Ronald and recently her grandson Dustin Tendler.
She is survived by her daughter Dodi Thorhaug (Ken) and Valerie Tendler (Darryl), grandsons Tyson Thorhaug (Pavla) and Craig Tendler (Kallie) and four great grandchildren Peyton, Autumn, Dex and Tegan.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. from the Knox United Church, Bengough, SK with Ann Hagen as the Presiding Official. Pallbearers were: Randy Pond, Troy Haugen, Jerry Coubrough, Colin Giblett, Don Albers and Doug Coroluick.
A Reception was held at the Bengough Community Centre, Bengough, SK. Interment took place at the Bengough Cemetery, Bengough, SK.
Doreen’s family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care, attention and kindness she received from Tanya Kwochka at Comforts of Home and all the staff and residents in her home at Tatagwa View.
