Donald Maurice Thiel

Donald Maurice Thiel, late of Regina, SK (formerly from Weyburn, SK)  born on May 26, 1934, passed away April 25, 2023 at the age of 88 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Cecilia Thiel; his wife Mary; his daughter Shelly; brothers Jim Thiel and Ray Thiel; father and mother-in-law, John and Elizabeth Neuberger; and his brothers and sisters-in-law.

Don is survived by his grandson Jesse Thiel (Sam); his son Darwin and his family: [Kelli, Tanner, Dakota, Shelly-Lynn, Paris and Avah-Rae]; great grandchildren: Rylynn, Shyloh, Mackinnon; brother Allen (Monica) Thiel; sisters, Jean (John) Nikolejsin and Doreen Thiel; sisters-in-law Vivian Thiel and Norma Thiel; brother and sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Don was held Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Valentine Amobi celebrant. 

Interment was held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK. Funeral luncheon followed at Lower McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK.
