Obituary
Donald Louis May, late of Weyburn, SK passed away February 25, 2023 at the age of 90 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Doreen (Roske); infant son Gerald May; great-granddaughter Kayli Katherine Fox; parents, Harold “Hurly” May and Loretta May (Fehlhauer); brothers: Lorne May, Gerald May, Mervin May and Keith “Joe” May.
Don is survived by his children, Barry May and Karen (Brian) Carlson; grandchildren: Amanda (Chad) Fox, Jennifer Court, Christopher Carlson, Daniel (Samantha) Carlson and Travis (Raquel) Carlson; great-grandchildren: Kylan, Tylar James “TJ”, Annah Fox, Draven May, Jordie Court, Katie and Alexander Carlson and Brett and Casey Carlson. Don is also survived by his sisters, Ruth Bathgate (May) and Elaine Waller; brother Orval May; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In Weyburn, SK Don was owner and operator of Don’s Plumbing & Heating LTD until his retirement in 1982.
He spent many summers at the lake after building his own cabin. He enjoyed water sports, fishing and spending time with his extended family and friends. Don liked to travel and to winter in Arizona where he made many good friends.
In his later years as he spent more time at home, he delighted in his great grandkids who gave him much joy.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date with interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.
