Deone Gruchy Obituary
Deone Isabel Gruchy, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 92 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Jean Geiger; husband, Gordon Gruchy; and her brother, Barry (Anne) Geiger.
Deone is survived by her children: Valerie (Ken) White of Creston, BC; Verla Gruchy of Regina, SK, Richard (Joanne) Gruchy of Nipawin, SK, Lorelee (Blair) Wagner of Airdrie, AB, Linda (Lee) Klassen of Weyburn, SK. Deone is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Elwood (Colleen) Geiger, Walter (Shirley) Geiger; sister, Dell Powell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Deone's life was held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Silver Heights Bible Church, 1610 Clarke Avenue, Weyburn, SK.
A Graveside Service was held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Crescent Road Cemetery, Strasbourg, SK with Reverend Paul Ens officiating.
