Dennis Laverne Rude

Dennis Laverne Rude, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 92 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Christian and Hilda Rude; daughter-in-law, Verna Rude; his siblings: Mildred (Charlie) Fettes, Gordon Rude, Corrine (Wallace) Bod, Heloise (Earl) Merrill and Carmen (Allan) Fettes.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ceta Rude of Weyburn, SK; sons, Christian Rude of Lake Alma, SK, Martin (Michele) Rude of Outlook, SK, and Tyler (Shelly) Rude of Lake Alma, SK; his grandchildren: Rebekah (Rob) Johnson [J.R., Emma, Seth], Jessica (Adrien) Couture [Vera, Hugo], Kaitlyn (Chris) Milani, Derek (Tova) Rude [Freya, Everly], Denise (Chris) Posehn [Eleanor, Clara, Lucy], Joshua Rude, Marshall Rude and Kelsey (Urban) Lonie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from Silver Heights Bible Church, Weyburn, SK with Pastor Ken Easterbrook officiating.  Pallbearers were: Derek Rude, Joshua Rude, Marshall Rude, Rob Johnson, Adrien Couture, Chris Milani, Urban Lonie and Chris Posehn. Luncheon followed at the Silver Heights Bible Church as well.  Interment was held at the Dovre Lutheran Cemetery in Lake Alma, SK.
