Daniel Andrew Dembiczak

Daniel Andrew Dembiczak, age 92, late of Weyburn, SK passed away peacefully at his home the morning of May 27, 2023.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ida Dembiczak; his sister Doris Gelsinger; his brother Larry Dembiczak; brothers-in-law: Joe Gelsinger, Murray Lazoskie, Martin Mastel and Johnny Mastel; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Agatha Hugger.

Daniel is loved and mourned by his wife of 57 years Rose; their son Douglas (Marilyn) and their daughters Krista and her daughter Kalla; Kara (Rob) and their children Nola, Janie and Carter; and daughter Colleen (Lenn) and their daughter Grace; his sisters Irene Mastel, Doloris Mastel and Bernice Lazoskie; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Hutch) and Lottie Hutchinson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Amobi.  Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK with luncheon to follow at the McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK. 

Daniel was born and raised in the RM of Lake Alma, where he successfully farmed and ranched until he retired in 2005 and moved to Weyburn. He was an innovative, devoted and hardworking man that lived life to the fullest.  He loved his family, traveling, fishing, gardening, visiting, cooking and was an amazing caregiver. He will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
